In an effort to better serve the residents of Eddy County the County Clerk’s Office located at 325 S. Main St. Carlsbad NM 88220 will be open to all customers on the following Fridays in 2018:
We will be providing the following services
1. Recording and filing of documents.
2. Marriage licenses.
4. The book room will be available for records search.
5. Voter registration.
We will have limited staff and the hours will be from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm These days precede Monday Holidays designated by the Board of Commissioners. Please note the dates and times are separate from Early Voting Hours, those hours are posted 90 days prior to Election Day on our web and Facebook pages. Absentee In-Person Voting begins October 9th at the Eddy County Clerk's Office.
No. Eddy County uses Voting Convenience Centers. Anybody who is registered to Vote in Eddy County can Vote at any location.
You can check your registration status by calling the County Clerk's Office at 575-885-3383,575-746-2541. Or you can check online by using the Secretary of State’s online Voter Services.
By completing the voter registration form now, you are in essence pre-registering but you do not become an eligible voter until you have reached your 18th birthday. Only eligible voters may sign petitions or vote in an election.
