Eddy County Community Health Council
Who is the Health Council and what do they do?
Planning: The Health Council is recognized by the County Commission as a Community Health Planning Information Body or HUB.
Purpose: The Council assesses community health and safety strengths, needs, problems and resources.
Membership: The Health Council has a stable, diverse and growing membership.
Internal Structures: Leadership Team, Committee Structure, Effective Meetings, Member Participation.
Systems/Capacity Outcomes:
- Networks and partnerships are built and or enhanced
- Community programs are identified and jointly developed or strengthened
- Policies are changed and or constituencies are built for policy changes
- Funds are received or leveraged in the community
