Yes, it is important to keep your physical and mailing addresses current on your voter registration. The content of your ballot is dependent on your address and State Law requires you to register to vote where you reside. You can update your addresses online at https://portal.sos.state.nm.us/OVR/(S(3duv1fwfr2ex3w0sascndmxr))/WebPages/InstructionsStep1.aspx or at one of Eddy County Clerk’s offices:

You can check your registration status by calling the County Clerk's Office at 575-885-3383,575-746-2541. Or you can check online by using the Secretary of State’s online Voter Services.
You need to fill out a new voter registration form and submit it to the County Clerk's Office or you can utilize the online voter registration services. You can find a link on the Clerk's web page.

By completing the voter registration form now, you are in essence pre-registering but you do not become an eligible voter until you have reached your 18th birthday. Only eligible voters may sign petitions or vote in an election.
Yes. We do not keep a permenant list of Absentee Voters. According to State Statute you must submit a new request for every Election.
